A SUCCESSFUL SEASON FOR MUFC

Midland Unity FC (sponsored by J H Richards) can reflect on a solid and successful 09/10 season in Tamworth & District Sunday League Div 5 where they finished 3rd - losing just 5 times, winning 10 and drawing 3.

Two good cup runs saw the team reach the quarter-finals of the Nuneaton Open Trophy (beating a Premier Division side and two First Division sides in the process) and the final of the Division Cup, cruelly losing 2-1 in the dying moments of extra time.
